NWRESD application staff are committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective software development solution services in leading edge technology areas.  In recent times, the group has been focused on migrating legacy applications for access via the Internet. Their combined expertise in this area begins with choosing the right software architecture, database and development tools for the application.  End user input has been essential for successful implementation and deployment of applications for use.

Our programmers have been responsible for developing several original, web-based software solutions.

They include:

• BOTS - Behavioral Observation Tracking System to collect and report special education student data
• Oregon Unit and Lesson Planning Tool - A FREE software system for Oregon Educators
• TEAMS - Truancy Enforcement Management System

The group is also responsible for maintaining several third party software programs including a student information system and a library and textbook management system. Areas of expertise include

• Database management
• Data extraction and conversion services
• Reports configuration for Oracle

A special education student information module is currently in development.  It will be populated with data from the student information system.  User will be allowed the ability to input and track IEPs, 504, and other data pertinent to special ed users.
