NWRESD develops and delivers support and professional development to districts focused on school improvement related to Oregon's Education Act for the 21st Century to schools/districts in Columbia, Clatsop, Tillamook and Washington Counties. We serve as a resource to school/district staff to enhance professional development activities.
Program Services
Provides a comprehensive professional development model to all licensed staff.
Facilitates the Goals 2000 grant to achieve the reading goals and measures.
Partners with Oregon Department of Education to facilitate professional development opportunities for district staff.
Provides training in literacy, TAG education, reading across the curriculum, etc.
Consults in areas of CDIP, school improvement, staff development, curriculum mapping, etc.
Coordinates professional development for districts and ESD staff.
Insures efficiency and access for all. Identifies needs across all counties and initiates staff development in identified areas.

Concordia University. Concordia offers several options for in-service teachers, administrators, and other professionals who would like to pursue a graduate degree or coursework related to the field of education.
LessonLab SkyLight partners with leading universities nationwide to offer more than 300 distance and site-based graduate courses and an array of distance and site-based master's degree programs that enable teachers to renew their skills and fulfill professional requirements while providing immediate classroom impact and long-term, measurable results.
